sniff sniff

walking past a hair salon today made me missed the smell of the hairdressers...

what is the world coming to...

nowadays, ppl seemed so anxious to get married.. spent lot's of money for the wedding.. seemed really happy.. but once married.. they wants a divorce... all those money spent... wasted... wat is the meaning to marriage then... just an excuse to invite people to dress well to a function..

people that are single seemed so desperate.. once in a relationship, they want out.. oh well.. not all.. some...



that's why the notebook is a kinda good movie.. becoz it promotes "till death do us part..." sori, if u had not seen the movie, i spoilt it for you... but it's a bloody good movie... after notting hill.. =)

sometimes i look around, ppl are hooking up.. most of my frens i met this yr at uni are already in relationships.. i seem to be the only one without.. i never been bothered by this.. but everytime, they gather, they would talk about wat their boyfriends are like.... hmm.. after a while, i was feeling abit left out... but on the other hand, i'm glad i'm not in a relationship after hearing them.. but another part of me, i'm not.. but i won't be in one just for the sake of being in one.. hmm.. i dunno..

i dunno of it's me or something but, lately these few days, the streets are filled with good looking ppl.. when i say good looking, i mean.. gorgeous.. cute.. adorable.. stylish.. fit.. everyhing that says good looking.. but wat are the odds of me getting one... bleh..

hmm.. i dun even know wat am i babbling about in this entry..

Things i learnt so far...

This is what i haf learnt so far since i came to Melbourne..

1. Milk cannot be kept for 3 weeks or more..
If it's sour, it means it's spoilt... i din check before pouring into my cereal, then when i tasted it, it tasted sour.. but i thought maybe it's the cereal's flavour... but the next time, i bought a new bottle of milk, the cereal doesn't taste sour.. so that means, the last time, i was eating spoilt milk..

2. Rubbish have to be thrown every other day or less
I left my rubbish in and din throw out.. and after a while, i couldn't find out where the smile was coming from.. i sniffed around, walking all over my place... but still couldn't find the source.. then finally, on my way out i took out the trash.. when i came home, the smell was gone.. so now i know, rubbish smells after a while..

3. Bread Moulds Fast
i bought bread, thinking i would eat.. but i din eat it for 2 days.. then when i wan to eat it, there are green things visible... that means... it's gone.. something got to it faster than i did.. eeshh..!

4. Carrots can dry up
i bought carrots thinking that maybe i can cook something with it, so i left it in my basket... and forgot all about it.. one day, i decided to clean up the basket, and guess wat i found.... a black stick.... i figured that was the carrot...

5. The weather's crazy
One moment it can be all sunny and warm.... but once u step into the store to get something and come out again, the weather can change to cool and windy... and sometimes even rain.... the weather in the city is not same as in the suburbs.. the coldest i felt in the city is not the coldest in the suburb.. the ballooning pilot said that it would be cold.. being a smart alec, i thought how bad could it be... so i went out into the suburbs all colllddd....shivering and all...

6. Tea leaves stains
after drinking a cup of tea, i saw red stains in the cup..

7. Check before sitting
When settling down on the grass, i hand swept a spot of crap.. bird crap..

8. Shop closes early
If you are a late sleeper and wake up at 12 o clock, u need time to wash up and get ready to go out.. by the time u are all done, you haf only 3 hours to look in shops.. coz they close early... then there's nothing to do after that...

9. Thin Walls
Walls in my apartment are sooo thin... u can almost imagine what neighbours are up to.... no, not thaatt.. but like maybe playing games consoles.. or watching DVDs.. or sometimes, conversations or even one sided conversations when intoxicated... "i'm sooooo druunk...." (*giggles in the background)

10. Keys and money
during my stay here, there are many instances where i got locked out.. not locked out.. but forgot to take my keys out.. so anyway, i get charged for actually forgetting to bring my keys out... hmmph..! $5 bucks per time... i think i got locked out for more than 5 times... =(
that day i went out to buy food.. when i went there, i looked at the menu.... it took a quite a long time and i think it annoyed the waiter.... but anyway, when i finally made up my mind, i tried to communicate to him what i actually wanted... which was not in the menu.. but apparently he doesnt understand a word i was saying... when i i finally got the message across, i put my hands in my pocket only to discover that i forgot to bring money out.... bleh... had to walk back home to get money...... fortunately i had my keys.....
